Here are some of the activities/extra-curriculars that are offered at SHS (CLICK FOR MORE DETAILS):

Beautiful Bibles (2-6)- 13 sessions – Get to know God! Dig into the Bible and focus on some key verses.

Sprinters (3-6)- 28 sessions – Build your strength and endurance and a healthy body.

Card Club (K-6)- 8 sessions – Learn how to play some traditional card games

SHS Strings (5th & 6th)- 37 sessions – 5th and 6th graders who have been in guitar are encouraged to join the strings and practice and share their talents at school masses.

Guitar Lessons (4th)- 30 sessions – Are you in 4th grade and hoping to join the strings? Come learn the basic skills that are needed to play the guitar

Board Games (K-2)- 8 sessions – Learn to play a wide variety of Board Games: Scattergories, Carbles, Sequence, Candyland, Twister, Guesstures, Clue & Horses

Basketball (3-6)- 6 sessions – Learn and practice basic skills for basketball

Volleyball-Sept/Oct (3-6)- 6 sessions – Learn basic skills and rules to play volleyballFeb./March- 6 sessions – Learn basic skills and rules to play volleyball

Movin’ & Groovin’ (K-2)- 6 sessions – Open gym

Technology/ Yearbook Club (6th)- 6-8 sessions – 6th graders who are interested in helping design the yearbook, this is the group for you!!

Book Club (5th & 6th)- 9 sessions – Each month we will be given a book to read and will meet to discuss the book. We will do some fun activities and share some delicious snacks that relate to the book.

Chess & Cribbage Club (5th & 6th)- 6 sessions – We will learn to play chess and cribbage or refine our skills. We will also have a tournament to determine the best players.

Cooking Club (3-4) & (K-2)- 8 sessions – Learn how to make some simple recipes to share with your family. Students need to bring an 8X8 pan and a 2 C. glass measuring cup. Students will bring their pan home each time filled with something for your family to enjoy.

ROBOTICS 1 (4th-6th)- 6 sessions – Create & Build your engineering skills
